Year 3 become historians, detectives and artists during museum visit

Year 3 thoroughly enjoyed a trip to the museum yesterday exploring different areas, particularly the Roman section. The children had the following brief and rose to the challenge:
Today you are historians, detectives and artists! It is your job to:
-Research what happened when the Romans were in Suffolk
-Draw a Roman artifact
-Decide what parts of the museum attract visitors
Questions to answer
  1. What can you find out about the Romans?
  1. What evidence is there to suggest the Romans lived in Suffolk?
  1. Choose your favourite Roman artifact and draw it.
  1. What do you like about the museum?
  1. Who do you think might like to visit the museum?
  1. Anything else?
