Turtles learn about light and shadows through stained glass windows

Yesterday turtles were learning about transparent, translucent and opaque materials. Their task was to create a stained glass window which created either a triangular, pentagonal or hexagonal shaped shadow. They needed to use their knowledge of opaque & translucent materials to achieve this! They were also using their maths skills by ensuring that the frame of their window had a perimeter of 40cm and were encouraged to spot and create patterns.
