Mayor talks to children about democracy and respect

The Mayor of Ipswich, Councillor Bill Quinton visited St Helen's as part of our work this term on "British Values".  The children were able to show a very good understanding of the importance of values such as democracy, freedom, respect and tolerance.  They also enjoyed talking to the Mayoress and Town Sergeant and looking at the town's mace and ceremonial sword.
