Design Technology and Applied Maths in Year 6

We had an enterprising morning in year 6, practising our DT and mathematical skills by making these 'skillosauruses'. Some are friendly and some are fierce! Together, we learned to cut, measure, reinforce, score, scale up and down as well as calculating angles, area and perimeter.

Today we all enjoyed an assembly with Romany Storyteller and author Richard O'Neill.

Our Roma pupils enjoyed the first day of their workshop and are looking forward to creating a performance tomorrow! Just one of the projects funded through the bid mentioned in last weeks newsletter.
