Fun in the snow
Being office based today, it was lovely to take a break and watch the children playing in the tiny bit of snow we had. The smile on their faces lit my day. Enjoy.
Smarties for Hearties!
My cupboard was beginning to fill up, so we decided to count some of our Smartie Tubes. It took all afternoon, but we are delighted to say that we have raised £88.90 (and gathered a few non English coins), to put towards our defibrillator. Closing date 14th February - so get eating and filling those tubes with money! Well done to those who have joined in so far.
My Life with Autism
One of our Ocean Phase pupils has chosen to write a poem in his own time to share his thoughts on what it is like to have autism and help others understand him more. Please read. I am so proud of him for doing this and hope everyone gains a little more insight.

Year 6 Pupil Rocks!
One of our Year 6 pupils came to my office today to share the guitar piece he has been working on at home, knowing the band are among my favourites. Listening to Trooper by Iron Maiden played acoustically was a strange experience, but he played amazingly. Next time, he promised to bring in his amp which will definitely add to the performance. Well done - loved it!

Eco Warriors
Well done to three of our boys and their parents for thinking about the environment. On their way to school they found this much rubbish on their route and picked it up to make their local area cleaner. Fab work boys, shame not everyone is as caring about our local area as you.
