Well done St Helen's for a very successful year!
Congratulations to our children and staff for all of their hard work over this academic year! Our results this year are excellent and we are very proud of every single one of you. We wish all of our wonderful Year 6 children well as they move on to High School. We look forward to seeing children back in school on Thursday 3rd September 2015! Have a great summer!

Sporting Success at St Helen's
Over the last few days children across the school have been enjoying their sports day's. Reception enjoyed a sports afternoon at Goals- pictures below
Years 1-4 went to Sidegate Primary School to compete in various track and field events. Congratulations to the winning team which was Ethiopia - pictures below
Years 5 and 6 went to Northgate High School to use Northgate Sports Centre where records were broken in the boys and girls throwing, boys long jump and boys 800m.....Congratulations to the Blue team for their successful defense of their sports day title- the first team to defend their title in the history of St Helen's! - pictures below

Sheep Project Launch
A successful SHEEP project launch was had on the Friday 3rd July at St Helen's. There were lots of activities going on to promote a healthy lifestyle including 4000 sheep which were dotted all over the school and the children had 5 minutes to collect as many sheep as they could. Miss Law's presented 5 a day which the school have bought into, Mrs Wylie led a yoga session and
ildren also had the opportunity to demonstrate their skipping skills! Octopi class were able to cook healthy fruity flapjack using the cooking equipment in the school canteen!

SHEEP training for staff
St Helen's Healthy Eating and Exercise Programme staff training session today ended with a spot of yoga - on the hottest day of the year!!
