Values...

After assembly on Monday, children have been using the Language of Opinion this week to say which "value" they think is most important in their lives.  Here are some of their ideas...

My opinion is that charity is one of the most important values in my life because people in poor countries need help. (Huwayda)

It’s my belief that love is the most important because if no-one loved each other in the world it would be a very unhappy world. Also we wouldn’t be alive if there wasn’t love in the world. (Robin)

I believe that curiosity is my important value because if no-one had curiosity we wouldn’t have aeroplanes, medicine and other things. (Valencia)

In my view determination is the most important value. Without determination you wouldn’t be able to get anywhere. (Joe)

In my opinion determination is important because if people aren’t determined no-one can help them learn (Bonnie)

From a personal perspective, I think that happiness is crucial because people can feel joy and togetherness. Happiness is important. (Lucy)

Most reasonable people would argue that wisdom is the most important because it is essential to put thought into everything you do.You think before you do anything. (Sara)

This weekend, please talk to your family about "values" and see what they think.
